Zohar Attias:
ASM is a multimedia installation that involves kinetic sculpture, sound and video. The work examines the power of technology to control people in an age where information is readily available and everyone can publish content, present it as fact, and distort and hide the truth in order to direct people to his/her own benefit.
The idea I am proposing is to think of navigation as an analogy for life. I choose to use analog instruments—a technology based on electric circuits and tapes, now all but extinct from our daily lives—in an attempt to move away from computer-based digital technology and regain control.
