My graduation piece in the field of typography centers on the lyrics of a children’s song by Yuval HaMevulbal: “I Believe in Myself.” The main idea is to take a familiar children’s text and transform it into a new, mature, and even Kabbalistic experience, granting new meaning and weight to its content.
The work challenges the boundaries between the sacred and the profane, raising questions about what our culture defines as sacred. Through a unique typographic design, the text is imbued with deeper and more complex interpretations.
The piece consists of a large-format printed poster, presented alongside a projected loop of animated words taken from the text, moving gently. This combination of static and dynamic media creates a multilayered experience that invites renewed contemplation of the familiar content.
