Graduates from Musrara - The Naggar School of Art and Society - are presenting final projects and works that have ripened over three years of study ✸
The Exhibition
The 2024 Musrara Graduate Exhibition presents the works of students graduating from the Photography, New Media Art, Visual Communication and New Music departments. At the culmination of three years of study, each student presents a site-specific project they have been working on with their mentors, through simulations and mid-year presentations. As the exhibition date approaches, the various spaces at the Musrara School transform into a rich gallery.
This multidisciplinary exhibition brings together different departments and showcases works that lie at the intersection of art and technology, photography and video installations, sound works, and music performances.
The exhibition will be open to the public between 13.7-28.7
From Sun. to Thu. 10:00-19:00 / Fridays from 10:00- 14:00
The Graduates
While studies at Musrara end officially after three years, the relationship between the school and its graduates does not. The school maintains close contact with its graduates and continues to integrate them in creative work, exhibitions, shows, artist workshops and reviews. Some of the school’s graduates joined the school’s faculty, while others found their place in the administrative staff and other projects in school. Other graduates of ours have become renowned artists, creators, producers, and founders of many important cultural platforms. We believe in long-term relationships and find importance in maintaining personal connections that are formed during the graduates’ time in our school, with the understanding that this contributes to the students, the school and the graduates themselves.
